Motorheads far and wide are revving up to come to Pillar Point Harbor for the cool Harbor Nights, a Coastal Car and Motorcycle Show. Owners of classic cars, trucks, fancy motorcycles and hot rods are all expected to drive in to share their most beloved vehicles. The community is invited to come marvel over the restored or customized machines and meet the men (and women!) behind the dream.
Both kids and adults will appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship in these works of art. Many of the machines have taken years to restore or create as the owners searched for just the right part. Instead of joining the scrape yard these vehicles shine and give us a glimpse of early automotive or motorcycle technology. Families will enjoy the cruise down memory lane as they show their kids the vintage Mustang or hot muscle car just like they once drove or wished they did. The owners will love to chat about the work that went into the restoration and the love they have for their cars.
The idea of the event was generated by the Bothams from Princeton Seafood Co and has gained much local support and enthusiasm. Bob Senz, founder of the Pacific Coast Dream Machines now in it’s eighteenth successful year and active in founding the Coastside Boys and Girls Club, said, “It is obvious that the coastside community would support an event like this. What better way for adults in the community to involve their youth?”
The event is free to both exhibitors and spectators, although exhibitors are asked to register. Please email Mary Botham at mary@coastalcarshow.com or call her at Princeton Seafood at (650) 726-2722 for more information. Registered machines will be entered in a drawing for some fabulous prizes.
So get your motors running and come to Harbor Nights!
